Ultrasonic Exfoliation a gentle skin cleansing procedure using ultrasonic waves & high-frequency vibration to remove dead skin cells & rejuvenate the skin.

Enzyme or Chemical Exfoliation is the key to beautiful, younger looking skin. Peels can dramatically improve the appearance of photo damaged & aging skin within 3 months by using a consistent home care program. Enzyme (gentler than chemical) lactic, glycolic, mandelic, salicylic, Jessners, TCA & Vitamin A break down the “glue” that holds dead, dulling skin cells together & triggers a healing response for increased formation of collagen & elastin. Research indicates that a series of superficial to medium depth exfoliating treatments can actually be much more effective than one very aggressive procedure & is less costly. Following chemical resurfacing, elastin & collagen reach their maximum rejuvenation in 10-14 days. Chemical peels are used to improve the skins appearance by causing the top layers of skin to separate & peel off. The new skins texture is smoother, less wrinkled, more even in color addressing sunspots, freckles & blotchiness. Chemical peels can reduce fine lines especially under the eyes & around the mouth. Chemical peels can treat mild scarring & certain types of acne. Chemical peels will not tighten loose or sagging skin or remove deep scars. While chemical peels cannot change pore size or remove broken blood vessels, the procedure can improve the appearance of these conditions. To maximize the therapeutic results of chemical peels, it is important to pre-condition the skin 4-6 weeks prior to the treatment. Pre-conditioning increases the skins receptivity & responses by reducing the stratum corneum & speeds up the skins metabolism. Exfoliation treatments are customized by matching the correct peel to the proper skin type in order to maximize results & minimize down time. The correct treatment will be recommended to you based on your concerns & skin type. A Fall favorite. Contraindications: irritation, sunburns, cold sores, pregnancy, lactation, Accutane use in the last 4 months.

High Frequency is thermal electrical stimulation of the skin characterized by a high rate of oscillation to help treat & prevent acne, shrink enlarged pores, reduce the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles, decongest puffy eyes & fade dark eye circles by enhancing circulation & encourage lymphatic drainage to eliminate toxins. Contraindications: pregnancy, have a pacemaker or history of heart disease.

Iontophoresis/Sonophoresis is a noninvasive method of transporting a high concentration of vitamins transdermally to increase product absorption promoting cellular renewal & repair, increases circulation & encourages lymphatic drainage. Contraindications: Metal implants, current treatment of cancer, Epilepsy, pacemaker, hemophilia, open wounds, rashes or infections

Acupressure Stimulates & improves blood circulation & metabolism in the skin.

LED/Microphototherapy (MPT) uses specific light wavelengths that work deep under the skin to activate cellular metabolism, stimulate fibroblasts, increases circulation, speeds wound healing & promotes firmness & improves skin texture. Infrared light triggers a mild dermal trauma initiating a wound/heal response. Red light stimulates collagen & elastin production to counteract the signs of aging. Blue helps clear mild to moderate acne by killing acne-causing bacteria which results in the prevention & elimination of breakouts. Blue light offers a safe alternative to antibiotics & harsh topicals. Green targets melanocytes, melanin-producing cells, to help fade & control hyperpigmentation. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to light, photo allergy, photo sensitizing medication, Cancer, Epilepsy

Mechanical exfoliation Microdermabrasion is one of the top 5 non-surgical, non-invasive resurfacing procedures. Microdermabrasion gently removes superficial layers of the skin using high pressure particle exfoliation to remove dead skin cells while simultaneously creating suction for the removal of particles. Microdermabrasion is an effective form of skin rejuvenation for those with a thicker epidermis, hyperkeratotic build up, superficial pigmented lesions & non-inflamed form of acne (acne grade I & II), reduction of surgical scars & stretch marks. A Spring favorite. Contraindications Active skin infection, cold sore, Accutane use, rosacea, thin skin, pustular acne, rash or irritated skin, telangiectasia, erythema, waxing within 24 hours, fillers 14 day post injections, Botox 10 days post injection, cosmetic surgery 8 weeks post

CIT* (Collagen Induction Therapy/ZenPen) one of the best non-ablative, non-surgical, preventative & restorative, antiaging treatment available. CIT offers an alternative to Fraxel, Botox & fillers to rejuvenate the skin. Suitable for all skin types, CIT creates micro-channels in the skin to stimulate a controlled physiological response to the wounding & healing process: The Phases of Skin Remodeling - inflammation (immediate), proliferation (up to 8 weeks), & tissue remodeling (up to one year) to increase the production of collagen & elastin. The use of LED &/or ultrasound further enhances penetration & absorption rate of the active ingredients up to 3,000% into the deeper layers of the skin.  CIT is most commonly used for fine lines, wrinkles, acne scarring, pigmentation, stretch marks & mild forms of non-inflamed rosacea.  CIT restores skin tightness, speeds up the reduction of pigmented marks, thickens thin skin, smooths fine lip/eye lines & softens scars. Suitable for all skin types. A Summer favorite. Possible side effects can include erythema (redness), stinging, itching, swelling, tightness, dryness &/or discomfort. These should subside within 24 hours. Post treatment, do not apply sunscreen or makeup for 24 hours, avoid alcohol based toners, scrubs, waxing, AHA's, BHA's, peeling treatments, retinoid-containing products. Contraindications: keloid or hypertrophic scarring, eczema, psoriasis, actinic keratosis, herpes simplex infection, diabetes, scleroderma, rosacea, recent surgical procedures, excessive sun exposure within the last 24 hours, open wounds, rashes or infections, laser resurfacing within the last 3 months, chemical or mechanical peeling within the last 1-2 weeks, impaired barrier
Draining Massage increases circulation, encourages lymphatic drainage to remove inflammation & toxins to help clarify the complexion & rejuvenate cells.

Microcurrent  Indicated for generalized aging, lax skin, fine lines & deep wrinkles. Microcurrent is gentle electric stimulation that strengthens the musculature. There are 32 muscles of the face that are manipulated during treatment.  Using acupuncture points (muscle origins & insertions), probes are used to physically move the muscle into the desired position.  Muscle re-education movements re-trains the muscles to maintain this new contour.  Microcurrent positively effects the tissue to lift, sculpt, tighten & tone while reducing the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles with no downtime. Doctors are recommending microcurrent services in conjunction with Botox & fillers to enhance & prolong injectable results. Fillers give a quick & effective "filling "effect, diminishing the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles. However, they do nothing for muscle contour. Doctors report prolonged effects of Botox when used in conjunction with microcurrent. They are also recommending microcurrent for patients that have been using Botox for an extended period of time. Extended use (3 years or more) of Botox can cause the muscles of the face to atrophy & lose desired fullness. Because microcurrent activates the lymph system to reduce swelling, it is recognized as the tool of choice by surgeons for pre and post-op applications. It is crucial that you receive a series of treatments for results to reach their maximum potential.  The number of sessions depends on the client age & skin condition. The effects of microcurrent are cumulative. Each time a treatment is performed, the new contour maintains its position better & longer. Contraindications: metal implant, pacemaker, Epilepsy, Diabetes, pregnancy, cancer, thrombosis, phlebitis

Oxygen Therapy O2 infuses vitamins, peptides & hyaluronic acid to improve lymph & blood circulation & stimulate ATP.  Revitalize dull, dehydrated skin. An age management must have. Wonderful for the winter.
